The journal features articles that illustrate the use of quantitative methods to empirically test social science theory. The journal emphasizes research concerned with issues or methods that cut across traditional disciplinary lines. Special attention is given to methods that have been used by only one particular social science discipline,but that may have application to a broader range of areas with an ultimate goal of testing social science theory.

Victims & Offenders《受害者与罪犯》（一年8期）. Victims & Offenders is a peer-reviewed journal that provides an interdisciplinary and international forum for the dissemination of new research,policies,and practices related to both victimization and offending throughout the life course. Our aim is to provide an opportunity for researchers — both in the United States and internationally — from a wide range of disciplines (criminal justice,psychology,sociology,political science,economics,public health,and social work) to publish articles that examine issues from a variety of perspectives in a unique,interdisciplinary forum. We are interested in both quantitative and qualitative research,systematic,evidence-based reviews,and articles that focus on theory development related to offenders and victims. The journal is published quarterly and each issue will include original research and an “opinion” section highlighting critical issues in the areas of victimization and offending.

The University of Chicago Law Review《芝加哥大学法律评论》（一年8期）. The University of Chicago Law Review was first published in 1933,thirty-one years after the Law School began offering classes. Joseph Beale,the first Dean of the Law School,and William Rainey Harper,the first President of the University,wanted to establish a law review sooner. The reasons for the delay,according to a letter from Professor James Parker Hall,included the small size of the faculty,the work accompanying the organization and early operations of the Law School,and,most significantly,the cost of publication.

Research on Social Work Practice《社会工作实践研究》（一年8期）. Research on Social Work Practice,sponsored by the Society for Social Work and Research,is a disciplinary journal devoted to the publication of empirical research concerning the methods and outcomes of social work practice. Harvard Law Review《哈佛法律评论》（一年8期）. The Harvard Law Review is a student-run organization whose primary purpose is to publish a journal of legal scholarship. The Review comes out monthly from November through June and has roughly 2,500 pages per volume. The organization is formally independent of the Harvard Law School. Student editors make all editorial and organizational decisions and,together with a professional business staff of three,carry out day-to-day operations.

Duke Law Journal《杜克法律杂志》（一年8期）. The first issue of what was to become the Duke Law Journal was published in March 1951 as the Duke Bar Journal. Created to provide a medium for student expression,the Duke Bar Journal consisted entirely of student-written and student-edited work until 1953,when it began publishing faculty contributions. To reflect the inclusion of faculty scholarship,the Duke Bar Journal became the Duke Law Journal in 1957. In 1969,the Journal published its inaugural Administrative Law Symposium issue,a tradition that continues today.

Columbia Law Review《哥伦比亚法律评论》（一年8期）. The Review is an independent nonprofit corporation edited and published entirely by students at Columbia Law School. It is one of a handful of student-edited law journals in the nation that publish eight issues a year.
