Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine《南非艾滋病医学杂志》（年刊）. The Southern African Journal of HIV Medicine is a medical journal focused on HIV and/or AIDS treatment, prevention and related topics relevant to clinical and public health practice. The purpose of the journal is to disseminate original research results and to support high-level learning related to HIV Medicine. It publishes original research articles, editorials, case reports/case series, reviews of state-of-the-art clinical practice, and correspondence.

African Invertebrates《非洲无脊椎动物》（半年刊）. African Invertebrates is an international peer-reviewed, open-access journal that focuses primarily on the taxonomy, systematics, biogeography, and palaeontology of Afrotropical invertebrates, whether terrestrial, freshwater or marine. Aspects concerning biology, ecology, and conservation may also be considered where these relate to the primary focus areas. Papers dealing solely with biology, ecology, physiology, pests and pest control should be submitted elsewhere.

South African Journal of Botany《南非植物学杂志》（一年8期）. The South African Journal of Botany publishes original papers that deal with the classification, biodiversity, morphology, physiology, molecular biology, ecology, biotechnology, ethnobotany and other botanically related aspects of species that are of importance to southern Africa. Manuscripts dealing with significant new findings on other species of the world and general botanical principles will also be considered and are encouraged.

Bothalia（年刊）. Bothalia, African Biodiversity & Conservation is published by the South African National Biodiversity Institute (SANBI). The journal aims to disseminate, to a wide audience, knowledge, information and innovative approaches that promote and enhance the wise use and management of biodiversity in order to sustain the systems and species that support and benefit the people of Africa.

Cardiovascular Journal of Africa《非洲心血管杂志》（双月刊）. The Cardiovascular Journal of Africa (CVJA) is an international peer-reviewed journal that keeps cardiologists up to date with advances in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Topics covered include coronary disease, electrophysiology, valve disease, imaging techniques, congenital heart disease (fetal, paediatric and adult), heart failure, surgery, and basic science.

SAMJ South African Medical Journal《南非医学杂志》（月刊）. The SAMJ is a monthly, peer-reviewed, internationally indexed, general medical journal publishing leading research impacting clinical care in Africa. The Journal is not limited to articles that have ‘general medical content’, but is intending to capture the spectrum of medical and health sciences, grouped by relevance to the country’s burden of disease. This will include research in the social sciences and economics that is relevant to the medical issues around our burden of disease

South African Journal of Surgery《南非外科学杂志》（季刊）. The SAJS is a quarterly general surgical journal. It carries research articles and letters, editorials, clinical practice and other surgical articles and personal opinion, South African health-related news, obituaries, general correspondence, and classified advertisements.

South African Journal of Animal Science《南非动物科学杂志》（一年1卷）. The South African Journal of Animal Science is an open access, peer-reviewed journal forpublication of original scientific articles and reviews in the field of animal science. The journalpublishes reports of research dealing with production of farmed animal species (cattle, sheep,goats, pigs, horses, poultry and ostriches), as well as pertinent aspects of research on aquaticand wildlife species. Disciplines covered nutrition, genetics, physiology, and productionsystems. Systematic research on animal products, behaviour, and welfare are also invited.Rigorous testing of well-specified hypotheses is expected.

Ostrich《鸵鸟》（季刊）. Ostrich: Journal of African Ornithology is the leading ornithological journal in Africa, and publishes peer-reviewed scientific papers and short communications (<2,000 words) on all aspects of ornithology conducted in Africa and its associated islands and marine habitats.

Marine Ornithology《海洋鸟类学》（半年刊）. Marine Ornithology: Journal of Seabird Research and Conservation is published by the Pacific Seabird Group on behalf of a consortium of seabird groups: African, Australasian, Dutch, Japan, and Pacific. The journal is overseen by a steering committee appointed by the supporting seabird societies.

African Zoology《非洲动物学》（季刊）. African Zoology , a peer-reviewed research journal, publishes original scientific contributions and critical reviews that focus principally on African fauna in terrestrial, freshwater, and marine ecosystems. Research from other regions that advances practical and theoretical aspects of zoology will be considered. Rigorous question-driven research in all aspects of zoology will take precedence over descriptive research. The Journal publishes full-length papers, critical reviews, short communications, letters to the editors as well as book reviews. Contributions based on purely observational, descriptive or anecdotal data will not be considered.

African Journal of Marine Science《非洲海洋科学杂志》（季刊）. The African (formerly South African) Journal of Marine Science provides an international forum for the publication of original scientific contributions or critical reviews, involving oceanic, shelf or estuarine waters, inclusive of oceanography, studies of organisms and their habitats, and aquaculture. Papers on the conservation and management of living resources, relevant social science and governance, or new techniques, are all welcomed, as are those that integrate different disciplines. Priority will be given to rigorous, question-driven research, rather than descriptive research.

The African Journal of Aquatic Science is an international journal devoted to the study of the aquatic sciences, covering all African inland and estuarine waters. The Journal publishes peer-reviewed original scientific papers and short articles in all the aquatic science fields including limnology, hydrobiology, ecology, conservation, biomonitoring, management, water quality, ecotoxicology, biological interactions, physical properties and human impacts on African aquatic systems.
